Weekly Events: Tuesday – HSGB vs. Toutle Lake @ Rochester – 7:30 start
Thursday - HS Girls Basketball (if they lose Tuesday) vs Ilwaco (@ Centralia, 7:30 start)
Friday - HS Boys Basketball vs TBD (District @ Rochester, 6:00 start)
Saturday - HS Girls Wrestling @ Montesano (District, 10am start)
Student Information:
• The Raymond High School Knowledge Bowl team placed 4th overall and 1st among 2B schools at Regionals on Friday and have qualified for state. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time Raymond has qualified for state in knowledge bowl!
• 8th graders! We're taking a field trip to PLU in Tacoma for College Exploration Day Tuesday, March 24th. This is to learn about how the college process works and there will be a scavenger hunt and a student panel. All 8th graders are welcome!
• 9th, 10th, and 12th graders! We'll be going to The Evergreen State College in Olympia Monday, March 23rd. 14 different Washington college campuses will be there, and you can pick four presentations to learn more about campuses and admissions processes.
• You will all be receiving a permission slip today, make sure to get it in to the office ASAP to secure your seat on the bus. We'll leave at 8:30 a.m. both days, and sack lunch will be provided. This is March 23rd and 24th.
• The Junior class is hosting a Tolo dance for grades 9th to 12th on Saturday from 8pm to 11pm. Tickets are going to be sold at the door only. It is $8 for a single and $15 for a couple. There will be a bake sale to purchase sweets during the event. If you have any questions contact the junior class officers.
• Happy Birthday Porter Settlemyre and Sailyr Thompson!
Lunch: Monday – Pizza quesadilla, roasted broccoli, carrots, peaches
Tuesday – Corn dog, calico beans, carrots, apple, fruit snacks
Wednesday – Spaghetti & meat sauce, corn, applesauce cup, breadstick
Thursday – Chicken nuggets, green beans, pineapple tidbits, educational snack
Friday – Hamburger, potato wedges, carrots, banana
