Student Information:

• This week is homecoming week:  The Theme is "Lights, Camera, Action".  Tomorrow is  "Austin Powers" – Hippie Day, Friday "Friday Night Lights" – School Spirit (School Colors).
• If you are dressed up for spirit week please stop in the cafeteria at lunch to show Jana and get your class spirit points.  Winner of the spirit paddle will be announced Friday during the assembly.
• Our school is participating in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey during fall 2021. The survey will be given to students in Grades 6, 8, 10 and 12.  The Healthy Youth Survey includes questions related to health risks and protective factors and access to school-based services. Survey results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks. Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students' answers are anonymous. Most schools will administer the survey online. They have been instructed to disable any recording, keystroke tracking, and video capture of school-issued devices used to take the survey. We ask that you do the same to ensure anonymous and honest participation. A Parent and Student Notification Letter is available on the school website for more information about the Healthy Youth Survey.

• The Volleyball tournament is a fundraiser for the volleyball team.  The cost for entry is $7 for adults and $5 for students.  ASB cards will NOT work to get you into the tournament for free.

Weekly Events: Thursday:  HSVB Jamboree @ Hoquiam – 4 pm start

    Friday – HSFB @ Wahkiakum

 

 

Student Information:

 

·      Please excuse the varsity volleyball team at 2:20 for the jamboree in Hoquiam.  An email has been sent out with the list of participants.

·      Any girls, grades 8-12 interested in still turning out for Fall Soccer, check in with Coach Enslow in the Raymond Elementary, the athletic Director, or show up to the Raymond High School football field at 3:30 after school. Or you can email Coach Enslow at jenslow@raymondk12.org

·      Any girls grades 7-8 who are interested in playing volleyball, please check with Jana or Mr. Tully ASAP.

·      R-League and SADD sign-ups are also going on.  See Jana for more information.  Clubs cost is $5.00 each.

·      Dress code will be fully enforced Tuesday September 7th.  Remember no spaghetti straps or tank tops, shirts must cover stomach, back and chest.  Holes in pants above the knee must have a lining to cover skin and pockets.
