Junior High Cheer tryouts are coming!  Tryout packets are available in the office.  Be sure to put your name on the sign up sheet.
Community Service Opportunity:  The Raymond pool is seeking people to help get the pool ready for summer.  If you can attend be at the pool at noon on Sunday. 
Tonight at 6:30 will be the Spring Sports Banquet for both high school and junior high in the commons.
Seniors please let Mrs. Webber know if you have received any scholarships!  If you do not let her know, they will not be announced at graduation.  
There is a brief athletics interest survey that has been sent to your email.  Please complete the survey as soon as possible.  Every student in grades 7-12 needs to participate in this survey.  
Students attending Running Start and/or Grays Harbor College next fall:  We will have a representative from GHC here today during 5th and 6th period to register students for fall courses.  Please let Mrs. Silvernail, or Mrs. Webber know if you are going to attend!
Sports physicals will be offered again here at the school.  They will be on June 8th.

Senior Servant Day is coming…. Today during enrichment all students will gather in the gym.  All bids start at $5.00 and the winner will have that senior ALL day on Thursday to help with what you need.  All monies collected will be donated to the Food Bank in Raymond.
Thursday there will be a Junior Class meeting at 2:40 in Mr. Newbill's room.  All juniors need to attend.
Friday there will be an informational meeting for both boys and girls grades 8-11 in the commons at 2:35.  Please come if you are interested in playing soccer.
There are extra Graduation Announcements available in the office for $1.50 each.
Applications for summer help here at the school are available in the district office.  Positions available are summer lunch program and custodial work.  Applications deadline is Friday.
All Baseball players need to have their gear turned into Mr. Abbott by today in order to not have a fine.

There will be a box outside the Flex Center to give your ideas on what our 2018/2019 school motto should be.  This year there will be a prize for the winner.  The winners motto will also be on the posters around the school and on the ASB shirts.  
There will be an SADD meeting today during enrichment in the Commons.  SADD members should check into their 7th period class then come to the Commons.
There are extra Graduation Announcements available in the office for $1.50 each.
In order to be on the Prom court, tickets need to be purchased by 9:00 AM today.  The cost is $40.00 for a couple and $25.00 for a single.  Prom is this Saturday at the Willapa Harbor Community Center from 8:00PM to 11:00PM.

Weekly Events:  Saturday – HS Baseball – District Tournament 
    

Student Information:

This Sunday at the South Bend HS Library, PCEMA needs a few good volunteers.  These volunteers will act as disaster victims for a simulated disaster that will be the culminating project to the spring 2018 CERT Class.  Vitim actors play an important role in CERT training.  Wearing realistic wound make-up (Moulage) and role-playing as disaster survivors, victim actors help CERT responders practice their skills on real, live human actors to increase the challenge (and the benefits) of the training exercise.  The "victims" are an essential part of the CERT Disaster Simulation and help to make our community stronger and more resilient.  Community service hours are available to eligible students on that day.  The simulation will start around 9:30 so the victim actors will need to arrive at 8:00 AM to the HS Library at the South Bend School.
There will be a girls basketball summer informational meeting for all girls basketball players grades 7-11 today @ 2:30 in the commons.  All players that are thinking about turning out for basketball next school year are strongly encouraged to attend.  If you have any questions see Mr. Koski.
Prom tickets are now available to purchase.  The cost is $40.00 for a couple and $25.00 for a single.  Prom is next Saturday, May 12th at the Willapa Harbor Community Center from 8:00PM to 11:00PM.

Student Information:

There was a set of keys found in the gym and a pair of glasses in a brown case found outside the school after the talent show last night.  Please see Mrs. Frazier in the office.
There will be a girls basketball summer informational meeting for all girls basketball players grades 7-11 Friday @ 2:30 in the commons.  All players that are thinking about turning out for basketball next school year are strongly encouraged to attend.  If you have any questions see Mr. Koski.
Prom tickets are now available to purchase.  The cost is $40.00 for a couple and $25.00 for a single.  Prom is next Saturday, May 12th at the Willapa Harbor Community Center from 8:00PM to 11:00PM.
Applications for summer help here at the school are available in the district office.  Positions available are summer lunch program and custodial work.  Applications deadline is May 25th.
