• The Junior / Senior Prom will be May 7th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm at the Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce.  The cost is $40 for a couple and $25.00 for a single.  Dress for prom is formal however, tuxedos are NOT required.   Tickets will be available to purchase after Spring Break.
• If anyone is interested in renting a tuxedo for prom, there is a sign up sheet in the office.  There is a tentative date of April 25th after school for sizing and rental costs.  
• Next week is Spring Break!!

• The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony is tonight at 6pm in the library. All current members, and those that received an invitation are welcome to attend with their families.
• The Labor Day Committee is pleased to announce a contest open to all students ages 18 and younger.  Create a theme and design a graphic for the front of a t-shirt.  Winner will receive a gift basket including $50 dollars cash, a Labor Day t-shirt, recognition on the Labor Day brochure and Facebook page.
• The Crisis Support Network is sponsoring a coloring contest.  You can pick up the coloring sheets in the office.  All entries due by April 8th.

·      The baseball game and fastpitch games have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

·      Any student that needs community service and would like to help out in the kitchen today from 11:00 – 2:30 come to the kitchen.  However, you can't miss any of your core classes.

·      Any student that was here on picture retake day that needs their ASB card please come to the office during passing periods or their lunch. 

·      The RHS Math team will leave tomorrow at 9:00 AM for their regional competition at Ocosta. Please meet in front of the school at 8:50. You do not need to bring anything with you. The bus should return before the end of the school day. 

·      Congratulations to our High School Basketball team for bringing home the 6th place trophy.

·      Thank you to our outstanding cheerleaders for their time and dedication to our sports programs.  You represented our school with class and exceptional school spirit and pride.

On this day in history in 1904:  Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) is born.  Dr. Seuss was voted "Least Likely to Succeed" by his classmates at Dartmouth College (1921–25).  And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, his first children's book, was rejected 27 times before getting published in 1937.  Dr. Seuss is credited with inventing the word "nerd," which first appeared in If I Ran the Zoo in 1950.   Green Eggs and Ham was written on a $50 bet when his publisher challenged him to write a book using 50 words or less.
