Weekly Events: Monday – JH Wrestling @ Ilwaco – 4:30 start
Tuesday – HSGB @ Chief Leschi – JV 5:45 start, varsity to follow
Wednesday – HSBB vs. Chief Leschi - JV 5:45 start, varsity to follow
Thursday – HSGB vs. Forks - JV 5:45 start, varsity to follow
Friday – HSBB @ Forks - JV 5:45 start, varsity to follow
Saturday – HS Wrestling @ Aberdeen – 10:00am start
• Wednesday will be the last day of the Tri-District Food Bowl Competition. Each day you can pay a dollar to wear a hat or pajama pants to school. Wristbands can be purchased each day at a table that will be set up outside Mrs. Silvernail's room in the mornings before school. Today's wristband color is ORANGE.
• Wednesday will also be the cut off day to put money in the jars in the high school office. The top 5 teachers with the most cash at the end of the day Wednesday will get a pie to the face at an assembly on Thursday during 7th period. If you put money in the jar of the teacher that you would like to see pied you can receive a ticket to put your name on for the chance to pie that teacher. The stats for today are: Mr. Koski has 51.32, Mr. Abbott 38.97, Mrs. Jordan 38.25, Jana 6.00, Mr. Shores 5.55, Mr. Tully 2.00, Mr. Hatfield 1.00, Mrs. Bayless 2.25, Mr. Deatherage 40.00, and Mr. Silvernail have 0.00.
• Wednesday will also be the final day to bring in food or cash to your class advisor. The winning class will receive an ice cream party before winter break. $1 equals 1 pound of food.
• Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for some high school mentors. They have many littles that need to be matched. For more information contact Jenna Leichty at jenna@swwabigs.org.
• There is an overflow of lost & found in the high school office. If you have lost something please come check to see if it is here.
• The ASB Christmas door decorating contest will be judged on Thurday. The winning class will earn the golden tree trophy!
• Attendance Percentage Update: 7th Grade = 96%, 8th Grade= 95%, 9th Grade = 90%, 10th Grade = 93%, 11th Grade = 89%, 12th Grade = 93%. Remember Classes with 90% or higher attendance rate by December 16th will get to attend the BIG DEAL on December 17th. So Encourage your classmates to come to school!
• The 8th grade Class will be hosting a Winter Dance for students in the 7th and 8th grade this Friday from 8pm to 11pm. All students must register and have a permission slip signed for Covid testing by Friday. Dance registration forms are in the office. If you plan to invite a student from another district there is a guest form in the office. Students from other schools will not be able to attend unless they are invited by a Raymond Student. The cost is $5/ person and $7/ couple.
• Picture Retakes are tomorrow.
• Friday is wear your ugly Christmas Sweater! Be creative!
