Weekly Events: Monday – HSGB @ Napavine – JV start at 5:45, varsity to follow

Wednesday – HSBB vs. Ocosta - JV start at 5:45, varsity to follow

Thursday – HSGB vs. Ilwaco - JV start at 5:45, varsity to follow

                   JH Wrestling @ Hoquiam – 4:30 start

Friday – HSBB @ Ilwaco - JV start at 5:45, varsity to follow

Saturday – HS Wrestling @ Warrenton – 10:00am

 

 

·      The Tri-District Food Bowl Competition started today.  Each day you can pay a dollar to wear a hat or pajama pants to school.  If you choose to wear both you will pay $2.  Wristbands can be purchased each day at a table that will be set up outside Mrs. Silvernail's room in the mornings before school.  Todays wristband color is RED.  We have jars in the high school office labeled with 10 teachers names on them.  The top 5 teachers with the most cash on December 16th will get a pie to the face at an assembly on that day during 7th period.  If you put money in the jar of the teacher that you would like to see pied you can receive a ticket to put your name on for the chance to pie that teacher.  Also, there will be a class competition between classes to bring in the most food or money to your class advisor. $1.00 will equal 1 pound of food.  Winning class will receive an ice cream party before winter break.  Check e-mail for updates. 

·      There is a knowledge bowl meet today in Ocasta! Please release the following students at the beginning of 7th period to get ready for the meet!

·      ASB will be sponsoring a Christmas door decorating contest.  This will take place with the teachers and their 7th period classes.  Judging will take place on December 16th. 

·      Attendance Percentage Update:7th Grade = 95%, 8th Grade= 94%, 9th Grade = 87%, 10th Grade = 91%, 11th Grade = 87%, 12th Grade = 92%.  Remember Classes with 90% or higher attendance rate by December 16th will get to attend the BIG DEAL on December 17th. So Encourage your classmates to come to school!

·       The 8th grade Class will be hosting a Winter Dance for students in the 7th and 8th grade on December 17th at 8pm to 11pm.  All students must register and have a permission slip signed for Covid testing. Dance registration forms are in the office. Cost is $5/ person and $7/ couple

·      Picture Retakes will be Tuesday, December 14th.  

·      On this day in history 1492:  Christopher Columbus lands on the island of Santo Domingo in search of gold.

Tuesday – Chili cheese fries, carrots, apple slices, juice

Wednesday – Vegetable beef soup, roll, peaches, green beans

Thursday – Mac & trees, breadstick, corn, tropical fruit

Friday – Hamburger, chips, apple, baked cauliflower
