·      The baseball game and fastpitch games have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

·      Any student that needs community service and would like to help out in the kitchen today from 11:00 – 2:30 come to the kitchen.  However, you can't miss any of your core classes.

March is Women's History Month:  In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, many women start to campaign for women's rights, particularly the right to vote.  This became known as the suffragist movement.

·      Any student that was here on picture retake day that needs their ASB card please come to the office during passing periods or their lunch. 

·      The RHS Math team will leave tomorrow at 9:00 AM for their regional competition at Ocosta. Please meet in front of the school at 8:50. You do not need to bring anything with you. The bus should return before the end of the school day. 

·      Congratulations to our High School Basketball team for bringing home the 6th place trophy.

·      Thank you to our outstanding cheerleaders for their time and dedication to our sports programs.  You represented our school with class and exceptional school spirit and pride.

On this day in history in 1904:  Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) is born.  Dr. Seuss was voted "Least Likely to Succeed" by his classmates at Dartmouth College (1921–25).  And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, his first children's book, was rejected 27 times before getting published in 1937.  Dr. Seuss is credited with inventing the word "nerd," which first appeared in If I Ran the Zoo in 1950.   Green Eggs and Ham was written on a $50 bet when his publisher challenged him to write a book using 50 words or less.

Weekly Events: Wednesday – HSGB vs. Mabton @ The Spokane Arena @ 12:15

• The RHS girls came out on the wrong side of a back and forth game against Okanogan on Saturday, losing 65-56.  This means that they will start the state tournament with a loser-out game on Wednesday against Mabton at 12:15. A win in that game would move them to the double-elimination round of the bracket and a match-up with Colfax on Thursday.  The state bracket can be found HERE.  You can also check for updates on the Raymond Athletics Facebook and Twitter pages.
