• Attention all high school football players: Stop by Mr. Abbott's classroom today at 2:50 to vote on awards.

• Christmas caroling at Thriftway tonight has been cancelled.  
• Tomorrow is the last day to bring in your donations for food bowl.  
• During lunches, we will be selling raffle tickets for $1 for a chance to pie Mr. Abbott, Mr. Quillen, Mr. Deatherage, Mr. Tully, and Mr. Shores.  There have not been that many tickets sold so your chances are pretty good.
• On Friday the 13th, we will be putting on a movie in the gym for those students who buy a ticket.  Tickets can be purchased in the morning in the Flex Center or at lunch by Mrs. Silvernail's room.  If you buy your ticket in advance, it will be $1 or 1 canned good, but if you wait to pay at the door, it will be $2.
• The winning grade of Food Bowl will get a two-hour activity day during school hours, but your grade has to have 500 pounds or more in order for a chance at the activity day.
• If you are interested in being a Big Brother or Big Sister there are applications in the high school office.
• The Sophomore Class will be selling cocoa candy grams starting this week.  They are $3 each and will be handed out 7th period on Thursday, December 19th.

• Food boxes will be located in the Flex Center in the morning to drop your food off. Christmas caroling is tonight @ 6pm meet in the student parking lot.  Caroling at Thriftway on Thursday the 12th starting @ 4pm.

• The senior class is hosting a bingo fundraiser tonight with the chance to win some amazing prizes and have plenty of fun! It will begin at 6:30 and go until approximately 8:30. The cost is $1 per sheet of 3 cards, 20 games will be played.
• Community Service Opportunity:  There is a sign-up sheet in the office to help with the haunted horse barn.  Jess Yearout will be meeting Friday at 2:45pm with the students that have signed up for the Haunted Horse Barn.
• The Homecoming Dance for grades 9-12 is this Saturday the 19th from 8:00PM – 11:00PM.  Tickets are available for purchase in Jana's office.  The cost is $8 for a single and $15 for a couple.
• The Health Department is coming today from 12:45-3pm to give flu shots to any staff or staff students that would like one in the HS library.  The forms are in the elementary and high school office.
• Thursday @ 2:40 in the cafeteria there will be an informational meeting for all 7th. and 8th grade girls interested in participating in basketball this season.

·      Congratulations to Kyell Patrick!!  He brought home a gold and silver medal from the Special Olympics!

·      Congratulations to Avree Payne, she is the winner of the Cat in a Hat.

·      8^th grade students need to check into their 6^th period class then come to the gym to practice for the promotion tonight.

·      8^th grade promotion is tonight at 6:00.

·      The 8^th grade promotion dance is tonight from 7:00 – 9:00 for grades 6-8^th.  The cost is 43 for a single and $5 for a couple.

·      Students you will be turning in your Chromebooks today.  Make sure you bring your Chromebook, charger, and case to school to avoid fines.

·      If you are interested in getting your own copy of the yearbook, please pay Jana Richards $50 and bring the receipt to Mrs. Jordan's classroom before or after school, or in between classes.  If Jana is not in her office, it's ok to bring the money to Mrs. Jordan's room instead.

• The yearbooks are here! If you purchased from Jana or online, you may pick up your copy in Mrs. Jordan's room (204).  Please only enter in between classes or before or after school.  There are still copies available for purchase.  You can pay $50 to Jana Richards to get your own 23-24 yearbook.  Hurry!
