• This week is spirit week:  Todays dress up day is Hawaiian shirt day, tomorrow is Tropical Twin Day, Thursday is Tropical Skittles day 7th grade dress in yellow, 8th dress in orange, 9th dress in pink, 10th dress is purple, 11th dress is red, 12th dress in blue and staff dress in green.  Friday is Raven out, wear your Raven colors!  Make sure to check in so your class will get points towards winning the spirit paddle!
• Make-Up Day for anyone who missed the Back-to-School BBQ and still needs a picture or ASB card will be Monday, September 22nd.
• If you are taking Retakes, please remember to bring your original picture packet or the black-and-white sheet with you.

• Attention all students:  Please check your Skyward account to see what your assigned locker number and combination is and only use that locker.  We have had many people taking other lockers and its causing issues.  If you do not know your locker number or combination, come see Shanna.
• Please note that the speed limit on Commercial Street, in front of the bus garage, and in front of the parking lot is 20 MPH.  The Raymond Police Department is patrolling these areas and have seen many people speeding.  This is your warning to slow down or you will receive a ticket.  A school zone ticket is $300.

·      Today we will be on the assembly schedule for class elections.  This year's 7^th & 8^th grade will go to the Flex Center, Freshmen will go to Mrs. Silvernails, Sophomores to Mr. Hatfield's, and Juniors to Mr. Deathrage's room. 

·      Today you will be turning in your Chromebook, charger, and case during English class.  Make sure you have all 3 of these items to avoid any fines.

·      There will be an informational meeting tomorrow at 2:40 in the cafeteria for all those interested in participating in cross country next fall.

·      Colton Nussbaum, the new Fair Manager brought in an application and also an Introduction letter and the list of qualifications for the Miss/Mr. Pacific County Program.  Please come to the office for more information. 

·      Please check the lost and found this week!!  There are many items from the gym, ect.  Any items left will be donated to the thrift store.

·      There is a community service opportunity to help at the Track & Field Special Olympics on June 21^st and 22^nd.  For more information there is a flyer in the office.

• Starting Monday students will be turning in their Chromebook.  Make sure you have your Chromebook, charger and bag to avoid any fines.
• Tomorrow there will be a Junior Class meeting in Mr. Deatherage's room at 2:30.
• There will be an informational meeting for girls' soccer at 2:40 on Friday in the cafeteria.  If you are interested in playing girls soccer in the fall, you will want to attend.
• All high school track kids, please turn in your uniforms to Coach Tully as soon as possible.  The fine list will be submitted at the end of the week.
• There is a community service opportunity to help at the Track & Field Special Olympics on June 21st and 22nd.  For more information there is a flyer in the office.  
• If you are still interested in purchasing a yearbook, it's not to late. The cost is $50 that can be paid in Jana's office and then take your receipt to Mrs. Jordan's room.

Weekly Events:   Friday – HS Track State

 

                                   

 

·      Due to the messes around the school during breakfast and lunch, there is to be NO food anywhere outside the cafeteria. 

·      Attention all 7th grade through Juniors who are playing football next year. There will be a football meeting in Mr. Abbott's classroom tomorrow at 2:45.

·      Today we are on the assembly schedule due to our last Character Strong instruction.

·      There is a community service opportunity to help at the Track & Field Special Olympics on June 21^st and 22^nd.  For more information there is a flyer in the office. 

·      The yearbooks are here!  If you purchased from Jana or online, you can pick up your copy in Mrs. Jordan's room before school, in between classes or after school starting tomorrow.  It's not too late to purchase your own copy. Please pay Jana $50 in the office and bring your receipt to Mrs. Jordan's room.

·      Happy Birthday over the weekend to Presley McVey, Jack Lawhead, and Zoey Wilkes.

·      Happy Birthday today to Aspen Cooper and Peyton Gonzales!

·      Attention all high school baseball players: Please turn in your cleaned uniform and all issued gear to Mr. Abbott by Friday to avoid being added to the fines list.

·      Students that currently have an Edgenuity course. If you are not completed with your course before the end of the school year, you will need to complete that course during summer school. Summer school begins June 16th.

·      Just a reminder that testing retakes are today! 

·      It is not too late to purchase a yearbook.  They are $50 and can be paid for in Jana's office.

·      If you need community service and are available to work concessions after school today, please see Jana.

·      Students, please remember that State Science Testing will be this Thursday. This includes all 8th graders and 11th graders. Testing will begin first thing in the morning during first period. If you are testing you will either, be with Mr. Hatfield, Mrs. Coty, or with Mr. Maley in the library. Your testing location will be emailed to you. If you are testing you will simply miss your regular class.

·      Students, please do not touch any of the supplies, wet paint, or the wall being painted near the library. 

·      Those students who are going on the field trip on Friday, there will be a meeting at 2:45 in the Flex Center.

·      Raymond School District is hiring Custodial and Kitchen help for the summer. Drop off your Resume and Letter of Interest for one position or both to the District Office by Friday May 9th. Applicants chosen for interviews will be notified via email and given an interview date.

·      Pacific County is accepting applications for summer litter crew.  Applications are available in the high school office.  Applications are due May 8^th.

·      Today at 2:40 there will be a meeting for the prom set up and clean up committee in the Flex Center.

·      Raymond School District is hiring Custodial and Kitchen help for the summer. Drop off your Resume and Letter of Interest for one position or both to the District Office by Friday May 9th. Applicants chosen for interviews will be notified via email and given an interview date.

·      There will be a Tri-District after prom party / game night at the South Bend Cafeteria for grades 9-12.  This event will go from 7pm to 1am and will have food, dancing, games and prizes.  This event is hosted by Pacific County TAC.

·      If you are interested in running for an ASB/Student Council there are flyers hanging up with a QR Code to scan to fill out your information.  You can also see Jana for more information as well.
