Daily Bulletin for 5-4-18

DAILY BULLETIN

May 4, 2018

Weekly Events:  Saturday – HS Baseball – District Tournament

Student Information:

This Sunday at the South Bend HS Library, PCEMA needs a few good volunteers.  These volunteers will act as disaster victims for a simulated disaster that will be the culminating project to the spring 2018 CERT Class.  Vitim actors play an important role in CERT training.  Wearing realistic wound make-up (Moulage) and role-playing as disaster survivors, victim actors help CERT responders practice their skills on real, live human actors to increase the challenge (and the benefits) of the training exercise.  The "victims" are an essential part of the CERT Disaster Simulation and help to make our community stronger and more resilient.  Community service hours are available to eligible students on that day.  The simulation will start around 9:30 so the victim actors will need to arrive at 8:00 AM to the HS Library at the South Bend School.
There will be a girls basketball summer informational meeting for all girls basketball players grades 7-11 today @ 2:30 in the commons.  All players that are thinking about turning out for basketball next school year are strongly encouraged to attend.  If you have any questions see Mr. Koski.
Prom tickets are now available to purchase.  The cost is $40.00 for a couple and $25.00 for a single.  Prom is next Saturday, May 12th at the Willapa Harbor Community Center from 8:00PM to 11:00PM.
