Weekly Events: Saturday – HSGB vs. Okanogan @ Wenatchee HS, 2pm start

• During lunch there will be a table set up in the cafeteria with this week's challenges.  Pick up a bingo card, coloring sheet and more.
• Completed bingo sheets and coloring sheets need to be turned into the office.  Make sure your names are on your papers when you turn them in.
• Today during 7th period we will be calling all students participating in today's spirit day will be called down to the office for a parade and photos.
• There will be a Junior High track meeting in Mr. Hatfield's room at 2:45 on Monday.  If you are planning on participating, please make sure to be there.
• This week is Spirit Week.  Today - Anything but a backpack, Thursday – Dress as a staff member, and Friday – School spirit day, deck yourself out in red and black!  This list of dress up days is posted outside the Flex Center.  Those who dress up on these days will have opportunities to win prizes during the week for participation.  
• February is Black History Month:  This month was chosen because it includes the birthdays of both Frederick Douglass, an abolitionist (someone who wanted to end the practice of enslaving people) and former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln.  President Lincln led the US during the Civil War which was primarily fought over the enslavement of Black pople in the country.
• Quote for the day:  I believe in myself… so anything is possible!

Thursday – Chili cheese fries, grapes, corn, cookie
Friday – Chicken and Joes, peaches, green beans, bread stick
